Civic Engagement for Faculty

Civic Engagement offers opportunities for your students to apply course material in a practical, volunteer setting. The program emphasizes student responsibility, leadership, and critical thinking through hands-on learning. If you have a student who is interested in Civic Engagement, or you think a student could benefit from this program, these resources will be helpful for you. Click here for the Faculty Guide to Civic Engagement and here for the NobleHour Faculty Guide

Faculty interested in receiving Civic Learning designations for their courses should review the Civic Learning Course Designation and Criteria document and complete the Civic Learning Course Designation Checklist. For resources on Civic Learning, see the Civic Learning and Civic Engagement Repository.
