Security certificate update

On Thursday December 31, 2009, BCC updated the security certificate issued by ispCA for the accessBCC web portal to ensure a safer and more secure experience for students and faculty.

Users of various browsers may be alerted to the change in certificate and they may allow this change. Should your browser alert you to the change, the instructions for allowing this certificate are below. For more information, please contact Information Technology Services, x3333.

If you see this window:

Click on the arrow next to: "I Understand the Rules"

Choose "Add Exception..."

Choose "Permanently store this exception"

Click on "Confirm Security Exception"

Safari (Mac OS X or Windows)

If you see this window:

Click on: "Show Certificate"

Click the box labeled: "Always trust these certificates"

Click on "Continue"
