Institute for Sustainability and Post-Carbon Education presents a conference

"Public Health & Medicine at the End of the Oil Age: Challenges and Opportunities"
April 14, 2009
9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Dwindling supplies of fossil fuels will have a transforming effect on "business as usual" in our world. One of the under-reported challenges is in public health and medicine. This day-long conference brings experts in the field to explore how we can prepare now to maintain our high standards of healthcare delivery and care, and how we as citizens must demand change.
Public health and medicine systems will face significant challenges in the face of the world-wide energy emergency. This day-long conference will address the threats to medicine and public health, which will affect us all.
For more information contact the BCC Center for Business and Industry.
For registrations received before April 6, the conference and C.E.U.s cost is $75 and includes all-organic refreshments and lunch, as well as the addresses and workshops. After April 6, the conference and C.E.U.s are available for $100.
