Student Awards Ceremony
You are invited to attend the Student Awards Ceremony on Thursday, May 27, 2010, which begins promptly at 6:30 p.m. in the Margaret L. Jackson Arts Center with a reception to follow from 8–10 p.m. in the Commonwealth College Center. This is a free event, which is open to the entire College community and their guests. The reception will include hot and cold hors d’oeuvres by Chef Caressimo, and musical entertainment will be provided. Student awards will be presented for academic achievement, service to the College, and other areas of performance. If selected for an award, recipients will be notified by mail prior to the event, by the Student Awards Committee.
Commencement
The Commencement Ceremony will begin, rain or shine, on the Elsbree Street campus under a large tent Saturday, June 5, 2010, at 11 a.m. and will be followed by a reception in the Commonwealth College Center (G building) cafeteria. Light refreshments will be served. You should arrive on campus at 9:30 a.m. and check in at the Jackson Arts Center (H building) lobby. Additional instructions will be outlined in the Graduation Information memo you will receive when you pick up your cap and gown at the Bookstore.

Commencement Program Listing
Your name will not appear in the Commencement program or in local newspapers if you have a privacy hold placed on your record. However, your name will still be announced during the Commencement proceedings. If you currently do not have a privacy hold on your record, but do not want to be listed on the program and in newspapers, please report to the Enrollment Center (G124) by Thursday, April 23.
Honors designations in the Commencement program are based on your total GPA at the end of the Spring 2010 semester.
Disability Accommodations
Requests for accommodations for graduates and/or guests should be made in advance, preferably by Monday, May 3, 2010. If you and/or your guests need accommodations to access this program of events, please contact Disability Services at 508-678-2811 ext. 2955. A wheelchair lift to the stage will be provided for graduates, and reserved seating is available for guests. However, please contact the Disability Services in advance to discuss the details of the accommodation.

Cap and Gown
You may pick up your cap and gown, tickets, and Graduation Information memo at the Bookstore in the Commonwealth College Center (G building) beginning May 4. All items must be picked up before Tuesday, May 26 at 7 p.m.

Phi Theta Kappa Honors Stoles
PTK Honors Stoles are worn by PTK members at graduation and distinguishes them as honor students and campus scholars. PTK Stoles may be picked up in the Commonwealth Center G-208, April 6 through May 21, 2010. The hours are Monday through Wednesday, 8:00 a.m.- 6:30 p.m., and Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. For more information, contact Sue Raposo at ext. 2234.
Degrees/Certificates
You may pick up your degree/certificate after the ceremony in the Cafeteria of the Commonwealth College Center (G building). Degrees and certificates for graduates who are unable to attend the ceremony will be mailed the week following graduation.
