Join us on the Bristol Fall River Campus Saturday, April 6th for the 12th Annual Bristol Cake Show & Competition. The event features a show cake competition, a weddingcake competition, a cupcake taste-off, sugar art and cake decorating classes, vendor demos, an artisan’s marketplace, and a daily raffle. It’s a whole weekend devoted to cake!
This year’s theme of “Wonders of the Natural World” will most certainly provide a stunning display of unique, amazing, breathtaking cakes inspired by zoology, botany, ornithology, entomology, paleontology, archaeology, geology, oceanography, astronomy, and ichthyology which celebrate the beauty and diversity of the natural world, as well as pay tribute to the early museum collections and cabinets of curiosity.April 6th, 2019 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Sunday April 7th from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. View the full schedule of events here

About the Bristol Cake Competition?The Bristol Community College Cake Show & Competition is an annual event that educates, inspires, and promotes the art of cake decorating. As the principal cake show in the New England region, the Bristol Cake Show & Competition brings together pastry chefs, cake decorators, sugar artists, baking hobbyists, and everyday foodies for an inspirational and educational celebration of the baking and pastry arts.Since 2007, the event has provided an all-inclusive environment for bakers, cake decorators, and sugar artists to showcase their talent. Held each spring the cake show & competition features a show cake display, a wedding cake display, classes for decorators and confectionery artists, vendor demos, and an artisan’s marketplace. Culinary celebrities and master cake artists including Toba Garrett, Nicholas Lodge, Linkie Marais, Lisa Raffael, and Erin Gardner have been guest presenters and competition judges. The event is organized/hosted by the BCC Culinary Arts Program and is a fundraiser for culinary arts scholarships.
