Adult Basic Education Program to honor G.E.D recipients at Bristol Community College June 3
They missed out on a high school graduation for many different reasons, but more than 300 recipients of the General Education Development (G.E.D.) are expected to be honored at a graduation ceremony recognizing the completion of this high school equivalency credential, Sunday, June 3, 2012, starting at 11 a.m. under the Commencement tent at the Fall River Campus.
The Adult Basic Education division of the College will honor those students who successfully passed the five-part G.E.D. testing. Students from Attleboro, Taunton, and Fall River will participate. Students who scored above a 2500 will be acknowledged with an honors medal. One student from each of the three centers will speak at the ceremony and describe his or her journey.
