BCC Office of Disability Services hosts 10th annual Family Night and Summer Transition Academy
The Bristol Community College Office of Disability Services, PASS Program (Program for Academic Support and Success) will hold its 10th annual Family Night and Summer Transition Academy (STA). These events offer new students with disabilities and their families an extended orientation to BCC, while addressing the transition from high school to college.
Family Night, scheduled for Monday July 28, from 6 to 8 p.m., kicks off the three day event. Students are invited back to campus to further explore support services on Tuesday and Wednesday, July 29 and 30, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
During the STA, students will tour the campus and learn about how to arrange accommodations for their courses, advisement for next semester’s course selection and career exploration services and courses.
