Career Services and Job Placement

Career Services:
BCC offers many career-related services designed to guide you during your time as a student and after graduation. Career Services helps students and alumni identify and pursue satisfying careers through a variety of programs and services. We also offer programs to assist those employers who are seeking talented students or alumni.

Career Planning and Job Placement Assistance:
Many BCC graduates wish to secure professional employment in their field of study upon completion of their program. Therefore, career planning and professional job placement services are introduced and provided as an integrated component of the curriculum. Students receive individual and group career counseling within the context of the program and, as requested, on a personalized basis. Standard services, which are provided as part of career planning and professional placement assistance and are available to students, faculty and alumni include:

  • Workshops on resume writing, interviewing, career planning, and occupational research
  • Individual resume review and critique sessions
  • Job fairs and on-campus interviews
  • Job listings and job search assistance
